Cooking

Cooking is meditation, allowing you to slow down and focus on what you are doing. Cooking has actually been proven to help mentally. There are a growing number of mental health facilities that now use culinary therapy for their patiences.

I find cooking to be extremely soothing. So here are some recipes of things I love to eat, watch as their being made, or make also! Not only is cooking therapeutical but it can be a great family activity and allows you to get close as a family it also can make a great activity with friends

Shrimp Pasta W/ Lemon Cream Sauce                                                                                              *serves 4-5 people*                                                                                                              Seafood
1 lb Shrimp, medium large
Produce
1/4 cup Basil or parsley
3 tsp Garlic
2 Lemons (about 1 tablespoon), zest of
Canned Goods
1 cup Chicken or vegetable broth
Condiments
1/3 cup Lemon juice                                                                                                              Pasta & Grains
10 oz Linguine
Baking & Spices
1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes
Oils & Vinegars
1 tbsp Olive oil
Dairy
1 tbsp Butter
1/2 cup Half and half
1 Parmesan cheese

Easy Italian Pasta                                                                                                          *Rushing? Perfect for a quick meal*                                                                                 Meat
1/2 bag Pepperoni, mini
Produce
1 cup Cucumber
1 cup Tomato                                                                                                                Condiments
1 can Black olives
1 bottle Italian salad dressing
Pasta & Grains
1 package Garden rotini pasta
Dairy
1 cup Colby jack cheese
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Honey Garlic Shrimp                                                                                                      *Trying to fancy up the night…This is great*
Seafood
1 1 lb medium uncooked shrimp, medium
Produce
1 tbsp Garlic
Condiments
1/3 cup Honey
1/4 cup Soy sauce
Oils & Vinegars
2 tsp Olive oil
